¡We believe that sharing knowledge is vital to achieve anything, so let´s save our oceans together!

​GOG products are NOT petroleum-based, where the main ingredient is PVAL (polyvinyl alcohol)​ which is made from natural gas (synthetically produced), that is biodegradable and without heavy toxic metals,. This makes it VERY eco-friendly to the environment, as it can be dissolved without leaving microplastics!

This is our formula:

75% PVAL + 15% Glycerin + 10% additives

How to dispose the bag

Step 1: Reuse your bag as long as you can by keeping it on a dry and clean storage

Step 2: Place the bag/film in a bowl and then carefully pour 200ml-1,000ml of hot water (70°C minimum) and stir for 1-5 minutes or until fully dissolved, releasing non-toxic H2O and carbon

Step 3: When the bag/film is fully dissolved, simply throw the residue liquid down the sink

Compostable Certifications

All bags and films are certified as compostable material. These certifications confirm that Green Ocean Group products are made of compostable materials and will decompose 90% within 180 days in compostable conditions.
